Project:

Interactive Web Design for the Data Science Program

In June 2024, Northern Online Education—a newly established institution—approached me to design their very first program website, launching their Data Science program. As this was their debut academic offering, they wanted the design to reflect current trends while appealing to younger audiences, yet still maintain a degree of formality suitable for an educational setting.

Challenges:
The project required a careful balance between modern appeal and academic professionalism. I also conducted user experience (UX) research to ensure intuitive navigation, clarity in content presentation, and a seamless user journey from landing to information access.

What I Delivered:
I created an interactive web design tailored to promote their Data Science program. The client specifically requested a dark, science-themed visual direction—favoring black as the dominant color to reflect the aesthetics of modern tech and data platforms. However, they also emphasized the need for a relatively conservative style, avoiding overly futuristic or experimental elements.

Result:
The final prototype successfully combines a sleek, data-driven look with a user-friendly structure. It serves as the foundation for Northern Online Education’s future digital presence.
